We stayed one night prior to our cruise. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the beach (2 blocks)
Dining and shopping.
The staff was great. The pool has the afternoon sun
so it was fun and relaxing.
I would stay here again.

I've stayed here on several occaisions recently, and all I can say is BEWARE. This use to be a decent place, but I've decided to move to a new hotel.
The WiFi here is awful, so if you need to get anytthing done, forget about it. You are forced to login and accept the terms every two hours. Not only is it annoying, but if you need to connect to your work VPN, you will be disconnected before you've accomplished anything.
I stayed in Room 204, right next to the stairwell with the door that slams so violently, that it shakes the glass in the window. Not so great for sleeping.
Half of the ice machines are broken, While I was there, I advised the front desk, I was told to go to another floor, where that ice machine didn't work either. For three days, I had to go hunting for ice if I wanted it.
The breakfast has hit the wall! The scrambled eggs have been replaced by cheese omelets. How do they know if I want cheese? Do they know if I want cream and sugar in my coffee? Why do they serve the coffee black and offer cream and sugar on the side? Because not everybody wants cream and sugar, that's why! And not everybody wants cheese in their eggs either. So STOP thinking for me, and let me decide what I want in MY eggs!
Adios Holiday Inn, I'll be staying up the road next week, and in the future..
