Wow, as I was not advised the hotel was in the middle of remodeling, it seems as the condition of the hotel they should of been completely closed, as furniture in rooms , was stained and a musty smell through out, also the dish network goes off and on, and unfortunately not on the little time I was there at nights, the staff was over whelmed with complaints that they could not address, as no maintenance was ever there to assist them, But I will say the staff tried to make every one happy with very little to offer,, the poor staff, I felt sorry for , because it was not their fault that the place was in such horrible condition,,it was so bad I don't know if I can say id ever stay at a holiday inn ever again,

rennovation mess everywhere, no cable and no internet! Rooms were clean, breakfast was nice after a long night!

I conduct business in Gainesville every month and stay at this hotel due to location / Convenience. Three months of renovations is getting OLD.
The services and care is getting more and more disappointing. Last month my reservations were MESSED up and I was charged for a stay date that I did not make reservations for....
My stay July 15-16th was once again disappointing- elevator did not work, ice machine on 2nd floor did not work, no light bulbs in the lamp by the bed, radio did not work, mattress needed replaced, the hot breakfast was COLD, and it sounded like an elephant was in the room above me.
I have not been recognized as a IHG® Rewards Club Member in so long I forgot I was one. May be staying at the hotels that are further away...
