I've already mentioned my pleasure with staff concerns for us.
I would mention a key problem we had which required walking back down to the reception area to correct. Not sure what the problem was--one key worked only the outside door but not the hotel room door. The other worked on the hotel room door but not the outside door, apparently. The reception clerk apologized and corrected it.
One suggestion having to do with the breakfast serving area--pancake-making was in the middle of the line along with toasters for the bagels and bread. How nice it would be to arrange the foods that could just be picked up and taken, apart from the foods that required a wait. That would make for a much smoother traffic flow. And coffee refills needed to be easily attainable--not causing a traffic jam. I also think a menu board of what is available would also be useful. I.e., There were hard-boiled eggs available that we didn't discover until we'd already eaten. And the second day there was no yogurt available. That disappointed me.

We traveled to OBX to purchase a property. I travel with a service dog and the staff were very understanding and caring regarding this. We bought a property and will be staying there again when we make settlement.

The welcome at reception and acknowledgment when passing by made all the difference to our stay.
Enjoyed being able to cut across the parking lot to the beach.
