With over 200 miles of shore line, the natural beauty of crystal clear Laurel Lake lies safely protected in the Daniel Boone National Forest where the water is pristine and the fisshing is great. Between 1775 and 1796, over 200,000 pioneers traveled to Kentucky over the famous Wilderness Road which runs through Levi Jackson State Park in London. Visitors to the park will find plenty to see and do. The park offers a museum, a grist mill, camping, swimming and much more.

Called the "Niagara of the South", this popular tour destination, with its thundering falls and its misterious moonbow adds a touch of wonder. Surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest, the 125 foot wide falls drops 68 feet into the Cumberland River and under a full moon, shows the only "moonbow" in the Western Hemisphere.
