Sorry but this was the worst experience we have had in a HIE hotel for a long time.
If you advertise a restaurant is open for a given period we assumed wrongly that food would be available for that period.
We arrived at 22.10 to be told that the restaurant was closed but we could be served a cold salad or walk to another restaurant, we later checked to discover the restaurant should have been available until 22.30.
We got to the breakfast room at 8.15 to find no food left on the buffet apart from a few cakes, stale bread and tinned fruit. The hot food trays were empty and not re-filled.
The room was far too hot as the air conditioning did not work and we couldn't stand the window open with the traffic noise outside.

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid April. First impression was very good, clean and attentive staff. Got top floor, 5th which I normally like for less noise. Checked into the room and immediately noticed it was very hot. Checked and adjusted the air conditioning (that's what they called it) and left for some shopping and dinner. Asked the front desk on the way out about the air and was told the city hadn't turned it on yet, open the window?? Came back at 10:30pm and room was crazy hot still. Opened my window which wasn't much better. Long story short every day I left my window open, didn't get to sleep till 3:00am every night due to heat and traffic outside (Hotel is right beside the road). Good hotel but don't stay here during hot months or when the city hasn't turned the AC on (what does that mean). If you must get a lower floor. I asked the staff several times for a fan but no luck. Loved Reggio!
